Hi, I'm Karen Barber Blevins, author of books for curious kids and grown-up readers alike!

I am a retired teacher with over thirty years of experience in the elementary school classroom. Whether I'm writing about a lovable dog navigating the ups and downs of life, a little boy going on rhyming adventures, or helping young minds discover the wonders of science, my goal is always the same: to create books that children love and parents feel good about sharing.

My books include the Vader and Friends series, in which Vader and his dog park friends tackle real-life topics like bullying, grief, kindness, and friendship. The Adventures with Daniel series invites young readers along on fun rhyming adventures to the zoo, the beach, the pumpkin patch, and beyond. And my Simple Science series makes learning about the natural world fun and approachable for little learners.
